Covid safety is a priority

Dear patients of Teeth First Dental Network clinics: Your health and safety continues to be a top priority for our dentists and staff.

Whether you’re due for your regular check-up and cleaning (which should be scheduled at recommended 6-9 month intervals), or are coming in for a restorative or cosmetic procedure to get your smile back on track - we want the patients of our Teeth First Dental Network clinics to know that we’ve been consistently practicing the strict and recommended Covid-19 safety measures to keep our patients and staff protected from the coronavirus.

With that being said, we’d like to remind our Ontario patients about what they can expect and be prepared to do when they come in for their next visit at a Teeth First clinic during these times of extra precaution:

  1. Only patients with scheduled appointments will be permitted into the office, with a limit of one guest or guardian for accompaniment. This is to ensure that office traffic stays within safe levels.
  2. We will kindly ask that you please reschedule your visit if anyone in your household has been sick or displaying symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 2 weeks
  3. Please provide us with your cell phone number and wait in your car or outside the office prior to your appointment, until we give you the green light to enter.
  4. Please ensure you wear a facial mask or covering before entering the office. All of our staff will we wearing full PPE to ensure maximum protection.
  5. Upon arrival, we ask that you please disinfect your hands using the sanitizer provided. Our staff are frequently disinfecting their hands in addition to all surfaces and equipment in the office.
  6. As with every patient that enters the clinic, we will be asking several Covid-19 screening questions before following through with your appointment.
  7. We will also be taking your temperature upon arrival, and will kindly ask you to gargle with the 1% hydrogen peroxide provided. We do this with every patient to ensure that no active infections are entering the office.
  8. Please note that for the time being, we will not be providing magazines, children’s toys or coffee in the waiting area in order to prevent any potential spread of infection.
  9. Social distancing will also always be in effect in the office, so we kindly ask that you keep at least a 6 ft. distance with others at all times.
  10. Please allow us enough time between patient appointments for thorough disinfection.

Patients of all Teeth First Dental Network clinics can rest assured that every and any visit with their dentist and team will be a safe one.
